Malaga Information
The province of M?laga is situated between the provinces of Granada in the east, C?diz in the west and Seville and C?rdoba in the north. The mediterranean coastline of M?laga is known as the Costa del Sol.
Due to the neighborhood of the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea predominates especially along the coast a subtropical mediterranean climate. The average annual temperature is between 12.5?C (54.4?F) and 19?C (66.2?F). In comparison with the Spanish average, the province of Malaga has experienced during the last a strong growth; there is a high percentage of foreign habitants, especially residents from north Europe and Great Britain.
The population is mainly concentrated in the city area of M?laga and along the coastline. In the interior the mayor areas are Antequera and Ronda.
All along the Costa del Sol does exist a complete infrastructure for tourism and for every taste and purse. Tourists can enjoy a wide variety of offers, from the typical sun and beach holiday, to active holidays (Water sports, horse riding, trekking etc.); The province provides as well hotels with excellent Spas for a Wellness and health Holiday. Moreover, the Costa the Sol is famous for its first-class Golf courts that due to the mild climate can be enjoyed throughout the year.
